Snoman & Cat?

Is it a dog or a cat that the snoman is out for a walk with? Looks like a cat to me but everybody knows that cats hate the cold.
Funny how 3 inches of snow can be so devastating. In loads of places all over the world people cope with much worse weather. [...]

Lasagne

I’m very pleased with myself I am. After days of human sloth, farting, crying, miserable, nicotine freeness, I have cooked dinner. Yes, I know, people have been doing this for centuries etc, so it is hardly a big deal.
On Monday I cooked, but barely finished due to major hissy fit, yesterday [...]

Reasons why you shouldn’t give up smoking

1. If you were able to tolerate the taste of instant coffee, you won’t anymore. Giving up smoking means having to develop an expensive taste in coffee, or a tea habit (I’m between the two at the moment - anyone who knows me will know how weird it is for me to be drinking [...]

Smoking PtII

It’s nearly been 24 hrs without nicotine. I’m beginning to get a little anxious and have managed to convince myself that I am having a terrible time and that the only reason I exist is to smoke. It is fucking awful the tricks ones mind can play on one. Fortunately, for me, [...]

It’s a Dog’s Life

Many of you may have noticed the dog theme recently, it was getting so bad I was considering applying to the Dog’s Trust for sponsorship. This led me to take a look at the Dog’s Trust Website. Turns out our Danny isn’t the only dog who can write. Many of the dogs [...]

Smoking

It is all I can think about - I am obsessed. Thinking about quitting and all I can do is think about cigarettes. What will I be like if I quit? Can I be any more obsessed with cigarettes?

RIP Molly

Sad news to report. Molly the Spaniel was put to sleep this morning. She had had a lump removed from her breast about a month ago but over the weekend had been very sick. This morning she had a fit and Mary decided that Molly had suffered enough.
No more bad hair days [...]

I’m Back!

In reply to a couple of the comments on Wine Lips by Katy and Hannah (you made me chortle girls) - froggish is french - though I liked Katy’s explanation best.
For all of those people who may happen to drop by and who don’t know Danny, I should point out that Danny is a dog. [...]

Saturday 8pm

At the moment i have ‘Sat 8.00′ written on the living room wall in white paint - we are redocorating so it is allowed. Why do I have this written on the wall? Because that is when the last ever Buffy the Vampire Slayer is being shown on TV3.
I am very excited.
We don’t [...]

Why I hate Building Societies

I’m so pissed off. I’ve been to the Nationwide to enquire about getting a debit card - to make life that little bit easier, so that I don’t have to use Dave everytime I buy something over the internet, so that i don’t have to carry wads of cash around with me.
The bastards won’t [...]

High in Ballycastle

Been pondering on the seizure of cannabis plants, during raids on homes in the Ballycastle area, by a group of vigilantes. Had myself chortling at the notion that the vigilantes had destroyed the plants by pouring diesel over them and setting fire to them. How stupid would that be, I thought? Maybe, it [...]

Itchy

On Sunday the sea returned the body of Jordan Murdoch. He was washed up 200 yards from where he had fallen in.
And to completely change the subject, here are a few of the items I have made during January. I finished my socks and they are loverly. Mmm! I am currently [...]
