I have been infected with a need for tickets to see the Pixies. I thought I could handle it, sure I’ve seen them twice before, but there are still tickets available for Phoenix Park where they will be supporting the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. It is all the stuff in the papers about them and the fact that tickets for Brixton Academy are selling for megabucks that is making me want to go. And the fact that they are a much loved band, a continual favourite on my playlist.
