Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Enough of weddings – more about me! I am sure that everyone is delighted to be back to normal.
As for me, I am off to Scarborough for the weekend. Why Scarborough? Well, it is hard to resist the lure of kiss-me-quick hats and sticky candy floss. I lie – I am off to visit my buddy-o and her family (normally resident in Vancouver, presently holidaying in the north-east of England). It should be fun. I’ll be back next week.
Diveboy will be spending his weekend underwater, off the coast of Malin Head. He will be diving the SS Laurentic, which was owned by the White Star Line and built in 1908 by Harland & Wolf, Belfast.
Of course, I would not abandon you all without providing a little bit of entertainment. Knitty’s summer issue, entitled Sex and the Knitty, is full of things that should make you either laugh out loud or cringe at the thought that anyone would be crazy enough to knit these things!
