Caught by the Fuzz

Welcome to part 2 of Zoe gets nabbed by the cops.

I have had a few encounters with the police – some when I was burgled, and some to do with another type of theft. I also remember being caught with my pants down having a piss – very embarassing! But when a girl has to go she has to go (especially if she has been on the beer for most of the night).

The worst experience was being cautioned for handling stolen goods. It sounds worse than it was. But I never again want to experience the police interview room or having my fingerprints taken. They didn’t take a mugshot. All of this when I was as innocent as the day is long!

So, how did I come to be cautioned? Well, someone I know arrived at my house one day with a great big shiny chalice from a local church – she thought it would make an excellent ashtray. I asked her where she had got it; we decided that it should be returned. It was agreed that her friend would pretend to have found it lying somewhere so that little miss lightfingers wouldn’t get into bother. Next day the chalice was still sitting in my house, so I put it in a cupboard, out of the way. That day someone we had known died – priorities shifted and the shiny chalice got forgotten about.

Until, someone came a knocking at my door. Two detectives and the little thief, who had squealed like a little piggy. They took the shiny chalice away and advised me that they would be bringing me in for questioning some time soon. And they did. What could I do? It was absolutely nothing to do with me yet I got a caution.

And do you know how they caught miss lightfingers? On the cctv cameras in the NEI.

Last police experience, was the time me and my sisters had a blazing row outside the Memorial Gardens, which are opposite the police station. I think the guard in the security box had been having a snooze and we woke him up – so, he threatened us that if we didn’t quieten down we’d be in trouble.

Since then I have been a very good girl.
