I am a bit arty-farty really. I am suffering from a massive overdose of ‘inspiration’. Too much, in fact. This week is painting week. I am working on a piece that I started over a year ago and didn’t finish due to our house being converted into our very own building site (oil paint and dust do not mix well!). It is good to be painting something (anything, just so long as it isn’t a wall or a skirting board) and I’m feeling all chuffed with myself. I have kind of forgotten how to paint. Like anything else, practice makes perfect and I haven’t been practicing enough. So, I don’t really care if it looks like crap; it is enough for me just to be painting.

Also, with Christmas fast approaching, I have been busying myself with present planning and making.

Something’s got to give? Yes, in order for me to fit in all this creativity I will be making easy food i.e. baked potatoes.
