Over the weekend I spent many hours cleaning the house, knitting and completing a project started well over a month ago – The Bedroom. Completing the bedroom involved hanging a few pictures and removing the paint cans that had been lying around since I painted the room. It wasn’t like it was hard work, so why was I putting it off? I am pleased with the result and can only hope that the novelty of a tidy bedroom does not wear off.

In actual fact the bedroom is not finished at all, it just looks better than it did! The curtains still need to be hemmed and I still need to make a throw for the bed. I think I may have a problem with completion. This is something that is apparent everytime I clean the house; I might wash and scrub until my hands are bleeding, but the finished tidy room will always have one item that hasn’t been put away i.e. furniture polish may sit out for days after all polishing has been done.

This does not worry me as I know that I am not alone in my inability to complete.
