I am banned from going anywhere near the Christmas tree. ‘Drop it!’ and ‘Leave it!’ are D’s favourite sayings today. He doesn’t understand that having a good old feel of a present, and a guess at what’s inside, is part of the fun. He has hidden all presents from him to me just so I can’t feel them! Of course I could be wrong and the truth be that he hasn’t bought me any gifts.

Well, I had a bit of a poke and a sniff of the gifts while he was out of the room and have decided that something smells like sprouts.
