Remember a few entries ago when I mentioned that I had been told something that made me smile? Well it is bean spilling time. For those of you who don’t know – I am employed by a company via a recruitment agency (better know by me as ‘those bastards’). The good news was that I have to been offered a temporary contract by the company. After 2 years I get sick pay and paid bank holidays! I am pleased, but not as pleased as I would be if I had a permanent job. That will be my next step.

I tried making strawberry jam last night – I don’t think it is set properly. I have 3 pots of very soft set jam, but it is very tasty! Thursday night seems to be a good night to cook – I made individual tomato and mushroom tarts too.
