At work today I was told something that pleased me immensely – don’t even ask, I wouldn’t tell a soul! The result of this is that I am in a very good mood. That, and the fact that the days are already growing longer, has given me a smiley face.

Tonight it is my turn to cook and I will be making vegetable lasagne. The preparation of this will steal precious knitting time from me, but I’m sure I will get through it. D has been making some really tasty vegetable curries recently (I bought him a new recipe book for Christmas). I can’t wait until next month and the end of the meat ban, when I will get to taste the curries with lamb and chicken in them.
