On Saturday I was a little blue - partly due to Ireland’s failure in the rugby.

Not Much made me smile apart from the life and times of the King of Northern Ireland, and Moroccan spiced lamb shanks with a parsnip and potato mash. In fact it was a good food weekend with apple pie, ice cream and a Chinese feast. Monday was good too - modified baked beans with venison & maple sausages, from the market.

A funny/horrific thing happened to me at the weekend. An acquaintance of mine asked me to take a photograph of her with her digital camera. I switched the thing on only to find myself confronted with a picture of her boyfriend naked, and we’re not talking bum shot! I quickly handed the camera back to her and watched her face turn deep red, like beetroot. To be honest, I guess it is just the kind of thing I would expect from her.
