Normally, I would prefer to keep my charity work well under wraps, funnily enough this particular charity appeal could be titled ‘Well Under Wraps’. I am keen to get everyone knitting an item for charity. Nelly has already highlighted the plight of those ladies who have been walking around with their bellies hanging out of their clothes. Now the colder weather is approaching and I would beg you to help one of these poor unfortunates by knitting a belly-warmer.

As for the birthday – I’m a whole year older! Thanks for the birthday greetings and pressies.
