Last night my man and I laid into the booze like it was going out of fashion. Fortunately for me, I know my limits and headed off to bed at two in the morning (well, I’m not as young as I used to be!) My man drinks faster than me, so he wound up getting lots drunker than me and doesn’t feel too hot today. In fact, he feels sick. He is lying on the sofa making sighing noises.

While we were merrily lushing last night we had a discussion about twinsets, as I am considering knitting myself a nice twinset. Dave had thought a twinset was a set of double tanks for diving, so I had to put him straight and get out the Dictionary:

twinset n Brit. a matching jumper and cardigan.

Well, I guess it will be a while before we drink that much again and I think D will know better than to question my knowledge of knitwear!
