D is away in Scotland this weekend – diving of course! He is due back in the wee small hours. I will hopefully wake up to say hello and tell him that he is gonna be a doggy daddy! Macy has had her pups – two of them. I am very excited about being a dog owner. Auntie T tells me that Macy and her pups are in fine health.

Other exciting news from this week is that we have booked flights to Mexico in November. We will be leaving on D’s birthday and with the time difference he will be having an extra long birthday. But I’m not sure if that makes up for having to travel on his birthday.

In preparation for my holidays I spent yesterday making myself a few garments to wear. One is a wrap skirt, the other is a pair of shorts. I’m not so keen on either of the fabrics, it just happened that they were the only ones I had enough of. The patterns came from Fitz Patterns and I used the tile option to print them onto A4 sheets of paper. I then stuck them together jigsaw-like. It was a bit tedious but worth it.
