I am in rough shape. Underneath the exterior coating of calmness you will find a gibbering wreck of idiot.

Firstly, I had the giddy excitement of planning a holiday. Then, the excitement at the birth of the hounds. Things were looking up.

Then, my job was advertised in the papers, which means that I will have to apply for it and sit through an interview. Arrrrghhhhh! Whilst this may be a positive step, it is also a very scary step. What if I screw up the application and interview and don’t get my own job? I would be gutted. Fingers crossed!

I expect to be very stressed out for many weeks to come. Hopefully, all interviews will be out of the way before I go on holiday and I will be able to truly relax.

I will try to forget about it all for a moment. Yesterday, D and me went to White Park Bay for a walk and to collect some blackberries. I will be using the blackberries and some apples I scored off my Granny to make a crumble later this evening. Yum!
