I know my latest entries are beginning to sound like extracts from “Paws” but the dogs have taken over my life. Unfortunately, they haven’t taken over my work life and I plod on daily.

My new routine involves a lot of feeding, walking and playing ball. It also involves cleaning pee, cleaning poo, getting my fingers bitten, clearing up wood splinters and generally being a slave to two dogs. But I love it.

Gracie is currently drifting in and out of conciousness on my lap. Macy is in a deep snooze in bed with D - it is a special treat for Macy as it is the weekend.

Both dogs are adapting well to being left at home when we head out to work, though Gracie is suffering some separation anxiety. We are hopeful that she will grow out of it.

In the evening, after walks and dinner, I look at them and see two content & happy dogs.
