Once again let me state that I have not been slacking. I have been here all the time, but with very little to say.

I am writing this because my blog looks very bare today, with only two posts written in May and none for June.

Today I will be going to the market with my Mum, Aunt, possibly my sister and definately my dog. Afterwards I must avoid going to the Bluebell Cafe (where it has been suggested that we go for breakfast) which is a hellhole of fried foods and not even nice ones. Okay, so I’m a food snob, but I believe that if you are going to pig out on food that is bad for you you should make sure that it is bloody good food. Like chocolate guinness cake.

Lidl had a sale of watersports gear this week and D came home bearing gifts of a shorty wetsuit, snorkeling kit and booties. He tells me that they are an early birthday present. I tried my best to hide my confusion at having been bought waterbaby items when I am a landbaby. It was difficult to be enthusiastic. Now if he had brought me home a bag of yarn I might have made a bit of an effort to show that I was pleased. Very pleased. Anyway, tomorrow D and me will take G somewhere to swim. I will dress myself in some of that wetwear and we will try to entice her into the deep water. We are quite hopeful that she will like it.
