Woke up this morning to find that I couldn’t actually get out of bed, and as a result I am having one of my rare days off work sick. My neck has totally seized and my upper back aches. Movement isn’t really an option.

As for the weekend just past? It was a delight to spend some time at home and not be gallivanting. We cleaned the house, walked the dog (who is getting better every day, though she has started lactating?), cooked delicious food, I dyed sock yarn with Kool Aid (very easy, very gaudy) and knitted like a crazy lady. Bliss.

The only bad thing that happened was that when I went to empty our wormery I found out the worms had fucked off. I have ordered a new colony and promise to look after them better. I realise now that they probably did the off sometime during the winter, I just didn’t notice as I try not to spend too much time looking in the wormery as it stinks.
