Gracie is a nasty wee bitch when it comes to unknown dogs, but we have been trying hard to keep her under control. A woman we met on the beach in Portstewart recommended that we try the scary, shakey bottle - a small, plastic bottle filled with stones that when shaken distracts the bold hound from barking. This has been working very well and Gracie is learning to ignore passing dogs. Sadly, her attention has now moved to joggers which is even more embarassing than her barking at other dogs. At this rate she will never be let off the lead again!

Sorry Mum for forgetting to warn you about the joggers before you took her out for the walk!
