I can’t believe that I have written so little in the past month. My excuse is that I’ve either been sick, taking photographs or out walking the dog. Oh, and working, too.

I came back from Edinburgh intending to finish writing about our final few days there but, instead, came home with a rather nasty bug that had me bedridden for a few days. There are easier ways to lose weight.

The other thing occupying my time was my photography course, for which I finally submitted my end of course project on Wednesday. Now my aim is to concentrate on Christmas presents and knitting. I enjoyed doing the course but think that it was a bad time of year to be doing it, especially as I spend all my weekly daylight hours in an office. Would have been nice to have the option to go out photographing in the evenings.

Well, it’s all done now and D and I celebrated with Italian fizz last night. Yum.

Anyway, Christmas…S**T, F**K, ARGHHH!
