I have a bad habit of answering questions with the most obvious answer. I really don’t do it on purpose, though sometimes, I will admit, I realise the humour of it as I say it. It makes me smile. I think Dave thinks I do it to annoy him, that I think he is stupid or something.

Take the other day when I was looking for two suitable nails to hang up my magnetic notice board. I looked in the toolbox and found nothing, so I looked around the house for any spare nails that had already been hammered into walls. I found two in one of the top floor bedrooms and yanked them out.

Dave: Where did you find the nails?

Me: Oh, you meant what room?
