A Return
It’s about time I rejoined the blogging society.
Sometimes it is better to be busy and not to be sitting in front of a computer for hours on end wasting time.
So, what have I done so far this year?
I started off with a lovely 3 night stay in Hanna’s Close, Kilkeel. Days were filled with mountain walks and evenings were spent wiling away time by an open fire. We climbed a weeny Mourne Mountain (Rocky in the Annalong Valley) one day and the next we climbed Bearnagh (a bit bigger). The dogs had a ball and were filthy, dirty things.
I knitted like mad.
I made a huge pot of chilli
I made dutch apple cake
I continued my efforts to tidy up all my photos, an enormous task which never seems to be done.
I painted our living room with absolutely no help (apart from a little filler gun action) from Dave.
I went to work
I walked the dogs
I ate
I slept
I assembled a cardboard pinhole camera (yet to be tested)
And I did some other stuff that’s absolutely none of your business!

Sounds like you had a good month. I went to three stoke games in london and saw them beaten each time. Anyway, i’m running out of time to request annual leave so will you and Hannah kindly sort something out (still hurting after the 3-1 defeat to spurs on tuesday night). We’ve just arrived back after the train was delayed for an hour and have to get up for work in four and a half hours. Night. Love dad. xxxxx

Don’t expect to be climbing mountains in norfolk, or even a small hill. Looking forward to seeing both of you. xxxxx
